P-Way.
The P-Way Department is responsible for the maintenance and renewal of our 18 miles of main line and sidings, which, as well as track and ballast, includes ditches and fences, and relies on volunteer work.
With 18 miles of track, a busy timetable and heavy trains, we always need more volunteers to ensure the safe running of the trains.
Newbridge.
The P-Way department is based at it’s own facility at Newbridge, just 1 mile north of Pickering station. It has a large workshop, office and messroom.
